Run a cleanup program such as ccleaner on your pc monthly and daily for
systems that are on the internet often.
The same program ccleaner has a built in registry cleaner as well this is good
for using after uninstalling or removing programs from your pc.
After you have run ccleaner you will need to check your system for spyware or malware,
this can be done with a program called adware or spybot you can find them on google.
Once you do this you need to insure that you have is an active antivirus program that updates
as often as you are on the system a suggestion is avast home edition and its free.
Another good thing to do is defrag your hard drive with either windows defrag or you can
download free programs from filehippo.com called defragler that works well.
This basically takes the data on your hard drive and reorganizes it so it is easier
for the hard drive to find thus speeding up your system.
Along with running the tools listed above this should have your computer system running
much more efficiently and will save you money on future repairs.
